Saturday morning we started out with the Taylorsville Parade and then later that night we went to the Neil Diamond Tribute Concert and then watched the fireworks again. These are way better.

Last night Jessica watched the kids for us so we could go to a meeting for Justin's job. On our way home she texted us and said that she had taken them to the park. They walked over to the park so we were driving her home. Jessica was in the front seat, Tyden was in his seat and Hadlee was on Justins lap in the back passenger seat. Hadlees car seat was still in Sis' car. When I was in the parking lot I had stopped to let a car back up. When I started to drive some IDIOT backed into me. I was furious. Remember that Hadlee wasn't in a car seat so Justin took the kids and booked it (his license is suspended too.) Well the guy got out of his truck and tried to tell me that everything was okay and there was no damage to my car. Freakin' loser! He wouldn't give me his information and I was yelling at him. He asked me why I didn't honk my horn. Everyone know that I am a horn honker. I told him that I did and he wouldn't give me anything until I called these two men over to act as witnesses. He didn't even want me to call the cops. I was so livid. He was probably the dumbest person that I have ever dealt with. After the cop arrived I realized that I didn't have a current insurance card. I was so mad. To make a long story short, the officer loved Jessica and I. The other driver got a ticket and he let me go scott free. He is in his bishopric and use to do security for Harmon's. What a coincidence! So basically my car looks like white trash now.
On a side note....
Last night after we got home we were kneeling down to have family prayer. I had Hadlee on my knees and Justin was across from us. I told Tyden that it was time for prayer and he walked over to us and put his hands on Hadlee's head like he was going to give her a blessing. It was just the sweetest thing. All morning he has been putting his hand on her head and saying a prayer. I had to explain to him that it was something that we did for Hadlee when she is sick and needs to get better. He's so sweet.

Last night I decided to take Tyden to the movies, just him and I. We went and saw Kung Fu Panda. It was so cute. He loved it. He was laughing the whole time and if you ask him what his favorite part is he'll say, "When the Panda sat on his head. Skadoosh!" It's so cute. We started the date by buying popcorn, drinks and candy. I asked him what he wanted to drink and he said Diet Coke. It runs in the family. When we were waiting for the movie to start and the previews were running and Tyden yelled out when it was quiet, "When is the movie going to start?" He doesn't have a whisper voice so it was a little embarrassing. He took a drink of his drink and said, "Mmm, thanks for buying me this Diet Coke Mom." He wanted to sit on my lap during the movie and when I picked him up I knocked down the red tray and the huge tub of popcorn. It was everywhere. I had a girl take a picture of us outside of the fountain. I decided that I am going to take him once a month for a "date night" and when Hadlee is a little older Justin can start it with her.
