Well, I did it. I decided to go dark. Mom took me to the beauty supply to buy it and Kari did it. It was only a level 3 which is NOT black but let's be honest it sure does look like it. Justin hated it and was mean and made me cry so the next morning I went to have it fixed. I went to this guy Nick at Fantastic Sam's. He does Jessica's hair. He looks, talks and dresses like a woman but he is a guy. He was so good. He did a all over bleach and then added a all over color. We are going to give my hair a 2 week rest and then go back and put the blonde back in. I'm in trouble until I have blonde back in it. So I'll have another picture then.

On Tuesday we had a family dinner at Mom and Dad's because Uncle Steve and our cousins Mike and Jared were in town. Would you look at Mike (Middle) and Jared (right) and know that they are family? It's been so long since I had seen the two of them. The last time I saw Jared he was a little kid not more than 8 or 9 max. He's 21 now so that gives you a pretty good idea. He looks the same as he did then. It was so much fun to see them. Mike is actually my cousin Loni's brother, for those of you that know her. Mom and Dad were on a bike ride in Oregon with the family and Mike and Jared trailored Dads bike back here for him. They rode with Uncle Steve, Debbie, Uncle Ford, Aunt Peg, Mike, Jared, Pat (Dads cousin), Judy (Pats blow up doll), and a few others. Dad had some patches made for their leather vests that say THE WOODS. They are all hard core bikers now. Mom and Dad both have leather chaps and dew rags....The whole works.
My children LOVE Uncle Steve. Who wouldn't? He was laying on the floor in the living room and they were all over him. They just can't get enough of him. Tyden talks about him after his visits with us.

My very own Little Debbie. This outfit reminds me of something that Mom would wear. All she is missing is heels and some silver jewelry. It helps that she looks like her too.

Running through the water.
Hadlee crying because she is getting wet.
This is the kids playing with the neighbors dog, Gracie. She looks like our old doggie Jade. All of the kids love her. Poor little dog, she is always locked up.
I love this little swimsuit of hers.

This is one of my favorite photos of my baby girl. This is Mikelle's old cabbage patch doll and she is sitting in one of the play strollers for a baby doll.

On Tuesday I kept telling Tyden that we were going to wash Meema's (My Mom) car in the driveway. He was adamant that he wash his bike and his Flintstones car. I got everything ready for him and he loved it. His police car was so dirty. In our last house he use to make "chocolate milk dirt" in the back compartment. He's a weird kid; just like Justin. I couldn't help but take pictures of him doing it. I set the timer to get a picture of us doing it together too. I'm always the photographer and never in the picture.
My mother-in-law has been chased by this goose and I've seen it wings up chasing a dog!!

When Justin and I were dating he bought us a pair of matching scoots. We had a blast on them. I was living in St. George and working at my parents sandwich shop when we bought them. Justin didn't get much use out of them because he was working in San Fransisco when we got them. Haleigh and I rode them all around town. They have been through MANY, MANY accidents. I think that they have both been crashed about 5 times. Justin and I both have the scars to prove it. When Justin and I got married we brought them up to SLC and never rode them. We gave one to Mom and Dad and Macfarlane rode it until he got his license. Justin used ours to run Jade. She would run to the side of him. Justin did it every day until we gave Jade away. Now that we have kids Justin gives them a ride on it. Tyden loves it. He would always ask for rides. Now that it is starting to warm up the rides are starting again. Justin gave Hadlee her first ride on Sunday. Of course I was out there taking pictures of it. If you look closely you can see she has a serious grip on Justin. It's so cute.

Today we woke up at the crack of dawn (6:20) to drive to Logan where our newest nephew, Jonah was blessed. He is so dang cute and he is the spitting image of Dax when he was blessed. I swear it was deja vu seeing him in the same blessing outfit. After the blessing we went back to Ian and Lindsay's for some yummy food. Of course my father-in-law was the culprit of the delicious food. We are so lucky to have him in the family. They have a playground in the front of their house and the boys were having a hay day. They are learning to play so well together. Here are some of the pictures that I took today.
This is what our family looked like today and then what we looked like 2 years ago when Dax was blessed. We have grown by 3 kids and 1 brother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAM!

Sorry, this is the longest post EVER!!
Yesterday was like any normal day for the kids and I. It was Wednesday so Mikelle brought the boys down so we could do "Mall Day." I was a very productive day. I bought 3 pairs of shoes and I got Hadlee her 4th of July outfit (I know it's a little early.) Pierce rode with me so Mikelle could leave the mall a little early and take Brocky to the Dr. When we got back to the house the boys were playing downstairs because it had gotten too cold to play outside (go figure.) We had been home for close to 30 minutes and I was getting Hadlee ready to take a nap. I was changing her diaper when Kari told me to come out and look at Tyden. He was trying to make Pierce laugh by dancing around and stuff. He always is trying to be the comedian, just like his Daddy. When I started to walk out of Hadlee's room to see what was going on he was screaming. I went to Kari and got him. There was a little bit of blood on his hand and I thought that he had just bit his lip or something. When he falls and hurts his mouth his teeth are always a concern. I don't think that they could take another beating. :) I was carrying him to the bathroom to get a better look and that's when he tilted his head back. I could see the fat on his chin the split was so bad. It was split a little over 1 inch long. This is what I said, "S**t Kari, we have to go to the ER." I was so calm. I was totally surprised. I got my shoes on and started to go to the car. Now remember we have Pierce and Hadlee who is half naked from her diaper change. Mikelle still hadn't got back from the Dr. Possible babysitters started to run through my head. When I got to the door Mikelle was outside. I was in the backseat of Mom's car and Kari drove. We had Sister with us. I had a choice of what hospital I wanted to go to and I chose the new IHC. Pioneer and Jordan Valley were out of the question. I wanted my kid to live. Mikelle brought the boys and pants for Hadlee to the ER. Justin was meeting us there. After we were all settled in the room and the doctors and nurses had questioned me a thousand times what had happened they gave him a topical anesthetic to start to numb it before he was given a shot. We asked the doctor that they put him under for the stitches. We just didn't think that he would be able to sit still for it. We had to wait for the right medicine from the pharmacy and while we were waiting for the medicine I had a feeling that Tyden needing a blessing. I just didn't feel comfortable with the idea of him going under without one. I guess that the policies have changed recently in the hospital and they will not announce over the intercom for a blessing. It's all about who you know that is LDS. We waited for a blessing for about an hour. When we were waiting for the blessing Tyden got to see the Life Flight Helicopter land and take off. He loved it. After we had a blessing the started with the IV. Justin had to leave the room of course and couldn't watch it. Tyden didn't even flinch when they put it in. They said that he was the best 3 year old ever. My kid is tough what can I say. When he was less than a year he had to have his blood drawn and wouldn't cry then either. They hooked him up and gave him the medicine. The doctor told me that his eyes would be twitchy and he would look like he had a thousand mile stare. When they started to give him the shot and numb him Justin had to leave again. I sat by him the whole time they were stitching him up. He was holding my hand. He wasn't asleep. He was awake but just not there. I was asking the nurse if I could get some for home. When he started to come out of the anesthesia he was so funny. He kept touching my nose with his finger and smiling. Justin was trying to get him to hold up his legs and he couldn't. We were just messing with him. The respiratory nurse said that Justin and I reminded her of her and her husband. Justin kept telling people that I didn't know who the father was and he was just there. He thinks that he is so funny. They were all so nice. The doctor made sure that he was just fine. They even had a respiratory nurse in there with us. He ended up having 6 stitches in his chin. What a trooper. We ended up getting home at about 8:30. We were there for about 4 1/2 hours. What a day!!! When we left the hospital he asked for french fries. Seriously, he never skips a beat.
Yes, he slept in his bloody shirt. He was so tired that we weren't worried about it.
This morning when he woke up we were playing the Wii and he said, "Great! I have blood on my shirt. Oh Great!" He is so smart.
I'll post pictures later when I can get him to take the band-aid off.
My Mom and Dad are in Tahiti for 10 days too so they don't know about it. Mom is going to crap her pants.
