Photo Shoot

So the other day I took the kids to the park with Jessica's tripod and did a photo shoot. Here are a few of my favs.

Justin and I have been blessed with the sweetest kids. Sometimes they are a handful but we love them. Last night when I came home from work I drove by the kids when they were on a walk. Hadlee was calling for me. She is such a cutie. Usually when I get home she tells me that she missed me and gives me a squeeze kiss (Squeezing your cheeks with her hands while she kisses you.) Tyden came and sat on my lap. He is not so affectionate. Typically he doesn't care too much. He just always wants to be with Daddy and at Daddy's house. It's OK. He is a boy and I'm glad that he has a good dad to go to. They really have been great little troopers this last year and I just love them.

Starting up again

Alright, after 7 months of a blog break I have decided to start blogging again. The kids have done so much this summer and I have missed blogging about it. I feel like I don't have anytime but I can squeeze in a few minutes to post a little.

This kiddos are leaving tomorrow for Labor Day weekend with Justin and his family. They are going to T Birds families cabin in Idaho. It will be nice to have a free weekend to work extra hours but at the same time it's sad. The past 2 years I have gone to the cabin. I miss the boys.

Hadlee is 2!!

Miss Hadlee turned 2 on February 15th! I can't believe that she is so big already. Time really does fly buy. I miss the days when she didn't make a peep and we called her angel instead of devil baby. She is getting so smart too. She likes to get into everything and is so mischievous. I can't get the pictures to load so I will do it later.

Big kids

It's been a while since I have done a post. I just don't have time to sit down and do it anymore. Life has got a little with me working more and shipping the kids between Justin and I. They have done so many cute things in the last little while.

Tyden has officially become a CTR 5. He's getting so big. Our new ward is FULL of young families. We have 3 nurseries. CRAZY. He has made friends with some kids across the street too. He is still continuing his love, scratch that, obsession with bowling. I now carry his ball and shoes in my car just in case. I would hate for him to have to bowl with a ball that wasn't orange or have his name on it.

Hadlee is still my little Spawn of Satan. She is constantly getting into things and if I don't watch her all of the time she will probably end her own life. No joke. I found her shaving her legs with my razor today. I recently caught her jumping off moms coffee table onto the couch. A full jump and tuck, not just a falling over. She learned to shake her bum when she dances too. So cute. Hadlee loves nursery too. She has no problem with me leaving her in there. She doesn't give a hoot. I recently bought her a monkey harness. She loves to wear it around the house. I have always been against them and I thought parents use them when they don't want to pay attention to their kids but I can keep an eye on her 24/7 and she will still manage to get away. I haven't had to use it yet but I keep it in my car.

Halloween 2008

This year Halloween was sooo much fun. We started out with Trick-or-Treating at Sysco with Papa. We walked around to all of the offices and Papa was able to show off his cute grandkids. They hit the jackpot there. King size bars. SWEET!

At 6 pm we started on the neighborhood. We went around the circle and up to Grammy's buddy's house with Grammy. Mom, Dad, Sis and Phil all caught up with us and we finished the route. Tyden wanted to do some more houses so Meema, Pompa, Auntie and Uncle Phil took the kids to the Ivory Homes neighborhood. It was SWARMING with kids. It was how Halloween should be in every neighborhood. I loved it. The kids were good little troopers. Hadlee loved getting all of the candy. DUH! She is such a piggy. Tyden was a little timid at first but he warmed up.

It was sooo cute to watch Tyden running. The little bottom of his costume would bounce up and down. It was just adorable.

After we went to Pizza Factory for dinner. All Tyden wanted to do was bowl. He probably bowled 6 or 7 games. He spent the night with Meema and Pompa and Justin and I finished our night off with High School Musical 3. I loved it. Justin hated it. He wasn't a big fan of the all the singing. Too bad for him.

Tyden's Birthday

I can't believe that Tyden is 4. The time just flies by. His birthday was on Sunday. We went up to Mom and Dad's for dinner. We invited Tori and Jenna from work and the Lawrence's. Justus taught Kenny karate when we first moved to St. George and our family became good friends with them. Mom was there when Justus and Katrina had their first baby, Kai. It was so good to see them again and Tyden just loved having some new friends to play with. It's always fun to laugh about old memories and laugh at Justus and the mini van.

We opened presents, ate cake and just hung out. It was so much fun and of course Tyden was so extremely spoiled. He really hit the jackpot.

On Monday we had his birthday party at Fat Cats bowling alley. There were 6 kids there including 2 friends from preschool and 1 from his primary class. Of course Pierce and Dax too. We ate pizza, played in the arcade, bowled, ate cake, opened presents and bowled some more. It was so much fun. Tyden just loves to bowl. We had the family there too. The kids were all over the place when we were bowling. It was hectic at first but my mother stepped in and fixed that real quick.

Te wants me to buy him a camera for his baptism on Saturday. Little stinker. Jenna said we were an Oreo. I'm so pastie white.Sis and Phil bought him Buzz. They searched everywhere for it. She didn't want him to be disappointed because that's what he told her he wanted. She spoils him.Pierce loved the bread twists. Dax did too.Hadlee loved the pizza. She ate two slices. Tyden's Halloween program

Yesterday morning Tyden's preschool class put on a Halloween program. It was soooo cute. All of the kids were dressed in their costumes. The parents were laughing and snapping pictures like crazy, including myself.

This is a pre-view of just how dang cute my kids are going to be on Halloween. Tyden is Bumble from the SL Bees. It's not finished yet. I need some antenna and some wings still.

Our 5th Anniversary

Yesterday was our 5th anniversary. We didn't do too much that was special. We went to lunch at PF and got to spend a little time together while the kids slept and then I was off to work. Yes, I worked on our anniversary too. It's just like any other day.

I'm not going to be sappy and say all of this stuff about J. I love him, he knows it. We are the perfect match. That's it.

5 Years ago.....

The BIG 2-4!!

Yes, It has come and gone. I am FINALLY 24! It feels no different from the day before when I was 23. I ended up working on my birthday. I now work at the Pizza Factory for those of you who don't know. A Friday night is just too good to pass up on, right? I originally brought my camera so I could take pictures throughout the day but I forgot until Tanya and I were about to close up for the night.

I had so much fun. I literally greeted my tables like this...."Hi, I'm Vicki. I'm going to be taking care of you tonight. It's my birthday, so Happy Birthday to me." It totally worked. I had people leaving birthday notes and one lady gave me $25 and a hug. She was so sweet. She reminded me a lot of Granny. It was a sweet night. Mom, Sis, Phil, Justin and the kids came in to eat while I served them. Justin also took Tyden bowling. He just loves it. We did a little birthday cake and they sang. It was nice.

I wore a little poofy thing in my hair and we just had a blast the whole night. Tanya and I were closing the restaurant so basically we took forever. We decided to go to the lanes and mess around and take some pictures. She wanted it to seem like I had fun on my birthday. We ended up bowling next to these guys that I swear are in EVERY night. It really was a great birthday.

PS. I ended up making $150 that night. SWEET!

It's Halloween TIME!!

I love Halloween. Not just for the decorations and the costumes but because it means that some important things are going to happen. My birthday, Tyden's birthday and our anniversary all are in 9 days of each other. I love it.

My mom bought the kids some pumpkins the other day and Tyden has been wanting to carve them for a while now. I thought that it would be the perfect Family Night activity. I love the thought of carving pumpkins but when it comes down to it, I really don't like it. The kids are still to young to do it themselves so I end up doing it all myself. Tyden didn't even want to touch the inside of the pumpkin. I went online to see if I could find some free templates and I found a lot. Tyden chose Thomas the Tank Engine, Blues Clues for Hadlee and Sponge Bob for me. I'll post the links at the bottom of my post. It took me about 2+ hours to get it all done. I hate it. Here are the pics of the finished products!!
